The author offers a perspective in which life can be treated as a project to be managed. Live your purpose and love the journey, he says. But how do you do live your purpose? And what if you don’t know what that purpose is? That, and many other thought provoking questions is what this inspiring book is about.
Here are just couple of them. Life can be more than just an ordinary life. Self-knowledge is key to discovering a clear sense of purpose. Trying to live by the values of others will result in hollow achievements and an unfulfilling life.
Further on he talks about things such as the inner economist, inner strategist and so on. I found the insight into these parts of myself very valuable.
The book is very content-rich, filled with practical exercises and inspirational stories and quotes. It goes from the inner economist and strategist, transforming beliefs, developing an awareness of an abundant internal resource, to how to align the heart and the mind (read yourself why you should learn it), and so much more.
The book consists of two parts. The first the author examines, among other things, how to be empowered within ourselves through gaining self-knowledge; the second part focuses on how we affect the world when we live our live from a clear sense of purpose.
Yes, life can be so much more than just a life, and this wonderful book helps you with it.
