    Adapter for DJ System

    Adapter for DJ System
Most televisions no longer have an auxiliary port. These newer TVs now utilize coaxial, optical, Bluetooth or the more preferred HDMI ARC. I have yet to use coaxial, optical connections are very limited on speakers, Bluetooth don't always sync correctly between mouth movement and dialogue (there seems to be a micro-second delay) and ARC/eARC is generally only found on soundbars. After getting an 85 inch TV for Father's Day, I tried out various audio speakers. The best and cleanest sound was definitely from soundbars since they're made for TVs. However, I also love my bass. No offense to home theater systems, but they will NEVER make subs that can meet the needs of bass-heads like myself.I have a DJ system (I'm not a DJ) that consists of four 18 inch subwoofers, four 15 inch loudspeakers and three 6.5 inch monitors that are all self-powered and connected to a mixer. The mixer only has xlr and 1/4 inch inputs. Which means sending an audio signal from my 85" TV to the mixer must be through an analog signal via the popular 3.5mm or RCA. Since there are no RCA or headphone jack ports, I needed an adapter that will convert optical/coaxial to those respective formats. This device here was exactly what I needed. With an optical cable connected from the TV to the adapter, I was able to send analog signals from adapter's 3.5mm port to the mixer which would then be pushed out to the pro audio speakers. My TV has an option where optical out is ALWAYS on so I can hear from my soundbar that is connected to HDMI ARC and the pro audio system that is connected to the TV's optical port. When I play music or want to do some Karaoke, I turn off the soundbar and all audio is produced by the pro audio system controlled by the mixer. When watching a movie where I want clarity and still want to feel the low bass, I use the mixer to cut-off the highs so only my subwoofers are producing the low thumping bass sounds together with the soundbar. If you need to connect the sound of your TV to an analog device/mixer, this adapter is what you need. Sounds do not deteriorate and everything functioned as expected.

We got a new 4K TV and could not find the correct way to connect our old Bose Wave Music system (from the early 2000s) to the new tv. This device was the solution!!! Easy to hook up and now we have excellent surround sound again! Just make sure you change the adv sound settings on your new tv to "PCM" as Dolby will not work. Still have excellent sound quality.

Have you ever ordered an electronic adapter, and it just worked? Seems like you never know going in. I had purchased the Sony RF400 Wireless Earphones to avoid disturbing my neighbors while watching television after 10:00 pm. The TV lacked the necessary jack for a direct connection, but it did have an "optical digital audio out" jack. The Prozor connects to the television via this jack, and then converts the digital optical signal to an analog signal. This is transferred to the transmitter for the earphones via an audio connector or an RCA connector (your choice). I used the audio connector (one plug). It worked right out of the box. Of course, you have to select the correct audio output on your television. You also might have to fiddle with the individual settings on your earphones. Note that this is not for Bluetooth, which is a completely different world. I chose RF because some reviews said "lag time" was not as big a problem as it is for Bluetooth, but that's a matter of preference. Great piece of equipment that does the job!

This one seems to be much better than my previous one. My last one was an older model and right away the sound began cutting out while using headphones. Then I'd have to unplug each of the cords, one by one, and plug them back in until the sound finally returned.

Haven't had to do that yet with this newer model, and it's been a few weeks since buying it. The sound it good too. I'm using a headset with a volume control, which I highly recommend.

When I first hooked it up all I got was static out of it. I read the instruction sheet and saw it only support PCM Digital input. That means no Dolby, no sound expansion, etc. I set my tv sound output to PCM and then the converter worked fine. I looked at other A to D converters and it looked like most all them required PCM input. I have it hooked up to an old Cambridge sound works speaker set and it works fine. Sounds much better than internal tv speakers.

I just wanted to use headphones with my smart TV for gaming. I got the other one for $30 thinking I'd get what I paid for, but the headphone jack gave sound in the left speaker only, and the rca jacks gave two of the same sound channels, not stereo.

So I returned that one and got this one, which was half the price and works flawlessly out of the box. If it just had volume control I would give it 5 stars, but overall this is the one you want.

Eski tip bir ses sistemim için almıştım. Playstation üzerindeki dijital ses çıkışından eski tip analoğa çevirmede sorun yaşamadım. Sorunsuz uzun zamandır kullanıyorum. Tavsiye ederim.

5.0 out of 5 stars Tut genau was es soll, nichts zu meckern an der Ton Qualität
