I've been using this keypad for years and it works great.
UPDATE: I don’t use my PS3 nearly as much anymore these days and when I do it’s basically become a video streaming or Blu-ray playing device. That just means instead of using the keypad to chat while gaming I can use it to search movies or TV shows when streaming and for that reason I still love this device. I like that it uses the same mini USB cable to charge as the controller does. What would have been better is if they integrated them and made it so the keypad plugged into the controller and can charge both at the same time so I don’t have to use two cables to charge each. Either way I feel that it holds a charge very well so that’s not a big issue. I just wish you could charge these with the PS3 off.

- Have to use a separate USB cable to charge it
Conclusion:
Overall, I'm very satisfied with the keypad as it has held up for three years. As I transition into old(er) age and I’m not gaming there’s still a use for this when streaming TV as it makes searching for my favorite movies and TV shows even easier.
