1. they are not fleecy on the inside(it doesn't say they are.)
2. they are considerably darker grey than on the picture.(that's why i gave 4 stars. i think it is misleading)
3. they are not as thick as i would have hoped, but not flimsy by any means.
4. while they have a rubber band on the bottom, the leg is still kind of straight.
5. they fit well, are comfy and seem of good quality-i have nothing bad to say.
...i just wish puma would make these thick, fleecy old school cuffed sweats again that i love so much.
I am just shy of 5' 7.5" and about 130lbs. Last year I bought mediums in the dark gray color and they fit me perfectly, just like the photo. They were exactly the right length and not too snug on the waist. These pants HAVE to be air dried though. I did a partial medium heat tumble one day (for only 20 mins or so) and they shrunk a tiny bit. The length is still good but the waist feels a bit snug now which is not how I want my sweats to feel. These pants take a long time to air dry because they are such a thick knit (well over 24 hrs) so when I went to buy more I decided to go up a size.
Out of the box the larges are definitely loose in the waist & pretty long on me, but they aren't huge or sloppy looking. folding down the band at the top helps them to look more fitted in the waist & bum. I still have to cinch them a wee bit with the tie but they fit well enough. If they stayed this way I would be fine with that. However i'm sure after blasting them in the drier they will end up much like the mediums were before I washed them. I only gave them a short medium tumble (it was a half drier/half air dry test run.) They did not seem to shrink at all, not that I can notice anyway. Next time I will put them in the drier full blast.... (will update later on how that works out)
update on 11/22/16- The larges did shrink a tiny bit after getting blasted in the drier. They are now a very good fit. Loose enough to be comfy but not sloppy looking. They fit a lot like the mediums did before I shrunk them a little. The price has gone up to $45 a pair so I probably won't be buying more anytime soon, but if I ever do get more I will stick with the size Large.
I'm 5'1 145lb with the measurements of 34-28-38. I wear a medium and they are just perfect.
They don't have fleece lining, which was little surprising but now I'm glad. It's like a terry cloth type of material inside. They are cozy and warm.
They are of great quality and look a lot better than some Champion sweats. (no offense to them! These seem to have more structure). They are pretty flattering.
I also have huge calves and find that these are a little snug at first but loosen as I wear them so I don't look like an odd shaped person.
I purchased the dark gray pair and loved them so much I bought the light gray pair. Finally, I bought the black ones too. I'd buy these in every color if they made more. These are the type of pants that you'll have and wear so often, you'll regret not buying more once they wear out. These will be my go to pants for hopefully the next decade.
I wanted a nice, thick pair of sweats that would last, and these were absolutely not it. :/
