Top critical review

Purchased from Amazon as 4.5 star-reviewed cross trainers. They are nothing of the sort. The insole is clearly labeled "Puma Running." I assumed--unwisely, it seems--that they were just generic insoles. Whatever they are, they are NOT cross trainers. I normally can count on a standard size 9 to fit well. These were quite uncomfortably tight, and have not stretched at all. The absence of a heel tab to help pull on the shoes is inexplicable, unless the back part of the shoe is so weakly constructed that it couldn't take the strain. This is the first pair of Puma shoes I've ever purchased--and the last!
