This Puma Knife is assembled in China. It is not the same quality knife as the one made and assembled in Germany. You can tell the difference by the lack of hole in the handle which works with the leather sheath that has a attached loop of leather which locks the knife into the leather sheath. Personally for the money I would not purchase this knife. To my way of thinking it may be worth 20.00 but 170.00 is crazy.

It's a good knife overall I'm just disappointed in puma. It's assembled in China but has formal materials. If you want a good solingen, Germany knife than get a Linder. They're better made, sharper, and cheaper than a puma and not to mention they're still German made 100% and aren't as expensive and they have more variety as well than puma.
