Great airbrush, especially for the money... HOWEVER... as other have said... the ad is misleading... it says you get "all 3 head sizes"... when you actually get only the #1 & #5 needles and air tips... and you get all 3 size paint tips... Where are my #3 needle and #3 air tip!!?. Also, the picture shows glass jars... and they cheapened the set yet again, by giving me plastic jars. I would have paid a few more dollars, for a full set.
I’ve only used it once, I’ve never used an airbrush prior to this and it was really easy to handle. I purposely tried to make the paint run on a piece of cardboard to see how My strokes need to be and you pretty much have to hold it on one spot to ruin something so I just went to town. Cerakoted a handguard, upper and lower receiver no problem.
I'm a newbie to this art but, my past history suggested I get a Paasche, as I've known other folks who do this for a living and that's their choice. Pretty much everything you need comes in the kit, sans the paint itself. I have tried some water-based dyes, which work OK but, have decided I'm going to give the real deal paints a shot so, ordered some of those. I'm primarily using it as "mixed media" with some woodworking I do. With practice, I have no doubt this will turn the trick for me. If it doesn't, it's NOT the fault of the airbrush! Also, VERY important to note: I had a slight issue with the unit and contacted Paasche and received a reply from Chuck within a day. We agreed on what replacement part it may need and he'd send it out to me. In less than 48hrs., I have the part in-hand! Truth be told, I have TWO of the parts! And yes, it took care of my issue(s)! Chuck clearly went above and beyond my expectations and Paasche has a return customer for ANY of my airbrush needs! (Just ordered my second Paasche yesterday, the Talon, before I even knew the Customer Service was "over the top"!) Recommended? A resounding YES to both, the airbrush and to the Paasche Customer Service!
I’m not an airbrush guru. I don’t do any magic things with them. I use them for detail painting on automotive paint repairs. That being said, this is a very high quality airbrush. I had a Badger 350, which by comparison is a POS to the Paasche. This is a precision piece of equipment, which works flawlessly and cleans up nicely. I love it and am glad I bought it.
I was having trouble painting my trout carving. I have to use acrylic airbrush paints, as I have no exhaust system for lacquer paints. Nozzle clogging was a significant problem with my other airbrush. I ordered this one as a backup, and will use it from now on. The one minor thing, which caused the 4 rather than 5 star rating, was that the #1 nozzle (the fine one) didn't have the needle. I had to order a separate #1 nozzle and needle set, so I ended up paying the same amount I would have spent for a new airbrush, instead of saving money buying this one "used in good condition. It was in good condition, it just wasn't complete.

I received my order on time. However, there was no information about needing adapter fittings along with the airbrush gun. So I can not rate anything about it because I am not able to use it until the adapters are delivered.
Im just a simple model kit builder. I was given a Paache VL series double action air brush and I had ZERO skills at using an airbrush. I started to learn with it but over time it just started to wear out. I did rebuild it, new needles, tips, O rings and a new valve upgrade and it worked much better for awhile but it started to show its age again. Then I bought another cheap double action air brush and it worked great once or twice then no matter what I did to improve ot it never worked the same again so I purchased this much simpler design (but better quality) Paache airbrush and I tell you what, for what I need on an air abrush this is Perfect. Since I had much more experience than when I first started, it performed flawless right out of the box.

Looks like a solid airbrush. Couldn't try it yet because it has a catch:
Strange hose format. The hose connecting into the airbrush is neither 1/4 BSP nor 1/8 BSP. The other end going to the compressor seems to be 1/4 BSP, but my compressor is 1/8 BSP. I couldn't find a hose that goes from 1/8 to whatever the Paasche is using on the airbrush gone, so it looks like I am going to have to daisy chain my adapters 1/8 via a 1/8 to 1/4 male-to-male adapter to the 1/4 of the Paasche hose.
While this isn't a big issue, it will set me back a couple of days to wait for the adapter. Other airbrush guns in this price range come with a whole set of adapters and spare you this annoyance.

I have to say I'm extremely happy with my Paasche H, I got it right around the same time I purchased a Badger 200NH, just as a spare "heavy paint" sprayguy. So far, I have to say - it's extremely easy to clean and is amazing to work on bigger surfaces (even though I use it for painting small bits as well, all the time :)). Yes, it's not a super-duper precision tool but I haven't touched the other airbrush (still bottom feed, single action and very nice) in at least 4 weeks. I'm going to give it more time as I used this airbrush for rather relatively short period of time but I am definitely not disappointed by it, does what it says on the tin and now I'm a Paasche fan :)
3.0 out of 5 starsWatch out for the plastic bottles

A bit disappointed with the plastic bottles the lids don't fit properly as the bottles haven't been trimmed. This is not the quality you expect from a product manufactured in the USA.
3.0 out of 5 starsI'm sure its a great product, just not for my needs.

Quality of the brush is great for the price point. Kind of annoying that Paasche makes their hoses 1/4 fitting when most compressors are 1/8. I had to buy an extra piece to make it work.
Being an airbrush noob, this was obviously a poor choice on my part. Though I had done my research to understand terminology, this brush doesn't work for my needs. I got a single action because I was just looking for a consistent spray, and siphon because I thought it would make swapping colors a lot easier. The problem is I'm a pastry chef looking to spray colored cocoa butter, which is a lot thicker than most conventional paints, so this airbrush is effectively useless. I tried it a couple times and could tell it was a good product, just not want I needed.
