This was my first ever airbrush kit and I think it will be perfect for my needs far into the conceivable future. The compressor is nice and quiet allowing me the ability to brush at night without waking anyone else in the house. The inclusion of the tank (although small) is fantastic as it allows me the ability to use the airbrush without the compressor running constantly. The only flaw I found here was one several other reviewers pointed out - the included regulator and water separator couldn't screw on and be perfectly vertical. It was off by about 90 degrees. I applied layer after layer of teflon tape, but it didn't seem to work. Eventually I put a couple of washers in place and sealed the thread with liquid pipe seal compound and that did the trick.
The Talon aribrush is well built and solid. I couldn't locate any manufacturing flaws at all. Fit and finish was solid and operation was smooth and easy.
There is still a bit of a learning curve for me simply because I have never used an airbrush before. I purchased this primarily for some automotive work and paint defect repairs. I've applied paint to my truck using this and the results were great. I was able to fill in deeper scratches and feather the edges out for a nice smooth finish. I am certain I lack the talent to really test the limits of this kit, but for my rudimentary abilities, this is fantastic.
Usually beginners kits like this are just good enough for someone to quickly realize they needed something better. This one will provide a lifetime of satisfaction for most average users.
