Through Pacha’s encounters we see how she is conquering her fears and anxiety in the imaginary world, which encourages the reader to face our fears in the real world. The different animations and songs sprinkled throughout the book cater to different kinds of learners.

Their clever jokes and fun facts help us learn about the world while inspiring us to open our eyes and to take action. On the surface, Pacha’s Pajamas is a children’s book, but after you finish the book you realize that a deeper message penetrates the heart. Pacha's Pajamas: A Story Written by Nature (Morgan James Kids)
Parents and teachers as well as kids are having a great experience with the book and the music. Often when my co-author Aaron and I go to community events, a parent will approach us and say something like “Pacha’s is all my kids want to listen to - thanks a lot” and then they smile because they know it is way better than the stuff on the radio. One parent told a story of two siblings that don’t agree on anything, agreeing on Pacha’s music. Another parent told us that her daughter read an earlier shorter version of the story 25 times and was comparing the book to the show. Many parents have told us they love the story as much as their kids and that they and their kids are learning a lot from the book. The other day, a parent told us that their 8 year old boy had read the book three times in the last several months. Parents tell us the kids are excited to get in the car so they can listen to the soundtrack, and its making for some great conversations in the car. One parent told the story of his daughter, who previously had not expressed interest in dancing, saying “Dad, I am going to be in my room dancing. Please don’t come in” and closing the door. We’ve also heard stories of parents and kids having deep bonding experiences while reading and listening together. Frankly, I am a little surprised but parents are enjoying Pacha’s music even if their kids play it all the time; they say “at least it doesn’t drive me crazy!"
