I always keep two in my pack along with the Portland Shiny Object inflator and Blackburn micro pump to get the tire started after a flat.
It takes two to fill a 2.35" MTB tire but totally worth the convenience, especially on night rides. The threaded style along with the adjustability of the Portland inflator make a great combo for anyone who rides often.

I have used 2 of these so far. The first one was a test run to make sure there was enough C02 to fill my tire, and to make sure the valve I bought worked. The second cartridge I used on a ride and I didn't have any issues. It got my tire (700c x 23-25) to 80 psi, which was enough to finish the ride.

I bought these for tire inflation. I haven't had the need to use them yet but they look good and I have no reason to doubt whether they will work as advertised. It's hard to go wrong with something like this. The threads are nice and clean. The bottle body is shiny and looks well made.

Update:

I've had a chance to use them with a tire inflater on my mountain bike with 27.5x2.1 tires. Worked like a champ.

I was finally able to try these out when I got a flat last week. These work well with a CO2 bike pump and quick inflated a tube. One cartridge was enough for a 700 x 23 tube to 90+ psi, and I had some gas to spare in the cartage after. The pump wouldn't fit back into my saddlebag connected to the pump, so I am not sure how much more gas was in the cartridge, although I don't think it would be a problem inflating up to a 700 x 28 tube, but not so sure how much bigger it could inflate. I have heard that this is why some people like to carry a 25g cartridge, but these worked out fine for road bike tubes.

If you need CO2 cartridges for an inflator (I recommend the Lezyne Alloy Drive inflator, with its snazzy alloy case for the cylinder and adjustable valve), I recommend these. In a large size box like this, I don't expect to run out anytime soon, as I use the CO2 inflator for emergencies only. If time permits, I use the pump in all my bike kits. A pump works better long term, as CO2 leaks quickly from a tire. When used, I always drain the CO2 and refill with compressed air once home.

Just note that they are threaded (some inflators use threaded and others non-threaded cylinders).

I tested a few and both worked. If you've been looking, you notice you have to buy many, to get a decent price. This was a good compromise. Of course, there is only one way to test if it works and then it's used up. I carry two and a hand pump just in case.

Bought these and haven't had to use them yet!! I'm knocking on wood as I type this. They arrived unharmed even thought they weren't package well at all and all the threads seem to be consistent and I'm sure they will be fine when that dreadful day comes that I have to bust one out to inflate my tube on the side of the road.
Funny because I was averaging about a flat per week before I bought these. I think if nothing else, these were a very smart purchase.ha

My husband is a scuba diver and must use a scuba signalling buoy while diving. It requires a CO2 cartridge to inflate. We recently went to Florida for Spring Break and he used 4 cartridges without any issue. They fully inflated his buoy. I checked many web sites and companies from which to purchase these cartridges and this was the best value. We can recommend them without hesitation.
