So there I was on league night, bowling my average but not really wowing it. Then I remembered - the Ultra Slide! I put a puff on my shoe and lined up my shot - two boards over and 6 inches behind the second line as always. I went in to throw and noticed I was flying far faster than normal! So I turned right and started sliding down the lanes. People jumped out of my way. An old lady barely made it. One of the guys from the "Satans Standards" team high fived me. I grabbed someone's nachos off of a table as I slid by - damn they were tasty. I was nearing the end of the lanes and grabbed a table leg with one hand - I still had my ball in the other and flung myself in a 180 and started sliding back the direction I came from, only FASTER. I started nearing my lane. I saw my teammates get ready to catch me. They grabbed me as I neared the lane, spun me toward the lane and I threw my ball down it, getting a perfect strike, and winning the evening.
If your bowling is average, you too can improve it with a dab or two on your shoe of the.... ULTRA SLIDE
Also use it on my thumb when conditions when thumb is slightly sticking in the ball, helps with a quicker release.
