The bag's fabric is embedded with eXomesh Slashguard, a lightweight flexible, stainless steel wire mesh that protects your gear from a quick slash-and-run theft. Flexible, lightweight stainless steel wire runs through the adjustable Carrysafe Slashguard shoulder strap to help prevent slashers from slicing through and running off with your gear. Some definite issues

I like it..............but that doesn't mean there aren't a few issues. The biggest one that I see is that the "main pocket" of the purse has 2 zipper tabs, but only one "clasp", and that clasp is almost impossible to use. It's wedged into a fabric loop and I can barely open it without my husband's help, because it's so tightly wedged intside the fabric loop. I've attached a picture that shows the clasp, fabric loop and the 2 zipper tabs. You can't possibly get the 2nd zipper tab clipped into the clasp, and it's the 2nd zipper tab that would keep the purse "locked" from theft! If I WERE able to stuff the 2nd zipper tab into the clasp, it would put all the weight of the purse onto the clasp/zipper tab and not the strap (which couldn't be good for the clasp or zipper).

Otherwise, the RFID pocket is nice and roomy and I like having the extra pockets on the inside of the purse. I first bought the CS200 purse but returned it because it was HUGE, this one is a nice size. I hope it will work well for an upcoming trip, but I am worried about the zipper tab/clasp issue that I wrote about above.

Good Bag Overall

Pros: Good size, the pockets were a good size and nicely placed for organizing. I had slim glasses case, point and shoot camera and extra battery, small tin of mints, compact sanitizer gel, 1 oz bottle of lotion, iphone, lipstick, eye makeup, keys, brochures, and maps. Love the brightly colored interior, makes it so easy to find things. Never feared pick pockets while riding public transportation or in crowded environments, such as at the local attractions or parades. Love how the outside pocket can be secure, but yet easy to access without have to fumble with clips and locks. The outside pockets are good to hold small unimportant items, like a compact water bottle. Of course, I love the mesh idea and the band running through the strap, really prevents cut and runs. Quality make over all.

Cons: Not very stylish, but enough to get by. Depending on the environment you're in or event you're attending, you may feel like the grandmother with the practical purse. Not sure if the RFID is as secure as they say, when I put my phone in it it still rang. Could not find more information as how to test RFID security. Do not like the zipper, found it rather large and clunky for the size of purse, but at the same time I could not complain it was not durable. Also, the zipper is a two way, can zip both ways. Not sure why they did is when the securing method is on one side only. I found no practical use for the 2way zip on such a small bag and because of the 2way found myself zipping the wrong way to lock and secure the bag. Do not like the locking zip clip on this bag. Very difficult to use. My other other bag is much easier. I am able to remove the clip from the placement "band" (so the clip doesn't flap about as it were) and easily lock clip the zip. It was still very secure and hard to manipulate for thieves. This bag I could not remove the lock clip from the placement band and really had to manipulate it, really making you look stupid as you fumble with it in line, drawing a lot of attention, rather than being seamless and discreet. I have no idea how someone with arthritis would be able to manage. At least they have some hope with my other, different style, but older model Pacsafe Bag, which has unfortunately been discontinued. I have no idea why as that model was very stylish.

Overall I like the bag, but will not use it much unless traveling because it's not very stylish. I use my other PacSafe bag quite often to travel around town. Unfortunately, that bag is not as big as this bag. I bought this bag for a trip I was taking.

Well made but too heavy.

This is a very well made bag and I am sure it will do what it was made to do. I like how it looks clean without frills and doesn't stand out.
But I gave it 3 stars because it is too heavy and bulky for me. Once I started putting my stuff into the bag, it almost felt like I was carrying around a bag of rocks. And I don't feel like I am carrying too much: my wallet, coin purse, pen, a small paper notepad, some tissue and keys. I think this is unfortunately due to the extra safety features like the exomesh padding and the anti slash material in the strap. The strap itself is really heavy too and so it really bothers me because I feel like it digs into my shoulders. In the pictures it looked more flat and I didn't see too many people saying that it was heavy. Please take note that the description does say 13.3 oz. I didn't think it was going to be this heavy though. Maybe it's because I don't work out?

In the end, if there is a violent thief that really wants to take my money and can't get into my purse, they will get my purse by other means, even if it means taking a life. But if I don't come across such an aggressive and violent thief, I think this purse would do the job of deterring pickpockets. I could possibly use the purse as a weapon if I swing it...

Several years ago while in Paris, I caught a ten year old kid with his hand in my purse! So this time when preparing to travel to Europe again, a friend told me she had bought a Pacsafe bag for the trip. I bought the one a size bigger than hers. It was perfect! I could adjust the strap for shoulder or across the body use. I like that it zips both ways into the main compartment so that the toggles can always be to the front of your body, although there is the extra clasp on only one end. I found that the small fabric loop on the srap is great to hold my sunglasses, keeping me from having to open the bag. I kept my passport in the rfid proof pocket inside the main compartment. It is also big enough for a slim wallet but I already had purchased an rfid proof wallet. The bag is comfortable to carry on my shoulder or across body. The zippers work smoothly. The inside fabric is a light tan, making it easier to see inside the bag. I also liked the smaller zipper sections inside, I kept things like my room key or subway ticket in them, secure but easy to get to quickly. When I arrived to meet up with my group, there were about 5 of us with the Pacsafe purses. We were all pleased with them.

Already had a small Packsafe bag and needed something a little larger and more like a handbag. This one fitted the criteria. Felt really safe with it which was the whole idea of the bag as I do travel to 'iffy' places in the world. My only niggle is that it does not look too trendy, would have liked a little more normal handbag look as it looks a bit 'Grannie' bag. I am a Grannie so may be I am a little picky. Is a little pricey but was prepared to pay for the security.

The handbag arrived with next day delivery. I bought it to take travelling but have been using it as my main handbag at home for several days now. I am very pleased with the quality and design. The light colour interior makes it much easier to find things compared with black lining which is great. There are multiple internal pockets, more than I expected. I was also pleasantly surprised that my Passport wallet fits comfortably in the RFID internal pouch with plenty of room for other documents. The material is very smooth and appears to be water repellent as I have been caught in the rain. The shoulder strap is more rigid compared with other bags due to the security features and takes a little getting used to. However the security feature are of course the primary reason for buying such a bag and it’s no problem at all. The bag is a good size and I am so far very happy with my purchase.

I've had PacSafe bags before and been really pleased but this one isn't the same quality at all. When purchased in June 2019 the zip was really stiff and couldn't be opened fully and I decided to ignore that as I find the lockable bag reassuring when travelling. But now it seems that part of the internal metal structure has broken and there is a really jaggy sharp point sticking through the bag which has torn both my hands and clothing. I've tried pushing it back in but it won't stay, and for fear of damaging me/clothing/others I won't use it anymore. The other bags lasted for several years which I expect from something costing £60 and used infrequently, but this one has only been used on two holidays and is now useless. Very disappointed.
