Been out twice with this screen room now here in Colorado. The polyester = good. The no-see-um = good. The poles = good. The general design of the screen room is good in that the tall center height and near vertical side walls make it very roomy inside. The downfall of the screen room is the quality of assembly. The quality of the webbing is subpar and half the weight it should be in fact I am now replacing the webbing stake loops with heavier material because the sharp sides of the hex shaped stakes that come with it are starting to slice into the webbing and they are already frayed. Two stake loops have already come out due to the poor quality of the stitching holding them in. None of the stress points (corner stake loops and perimeter stake loops) are reinforced with reinforced stitch patterns. Stake loops are simply run thru with one stitch across and that's it. I am now as I said replacing the stake loops and am having a tent repair shop reinforce all of the stitching of all the attachment points around the lower perimeter that can be reinforced. Poor quality stitching and little of it. Sad really. Good design with poor construction. For this price I expected better, but after all it is assembled in China. Oh ,also replaced the stakes with stakes that won't cut the webbing. I suggest you do the same.

I have a the Little Guy Trailer version of this tent that attaches to the Little Guy Travel trailers. I believe my review of that device should apply her also, as it should be the same tent, but with 4 screened sides instead of 3 like on my tent.

For my tent, there is a very small group of potential users, while this tent should have a wider grouping of potential buyer. I recently went on an 1800 mile tour down to The Great Smokey Mountains national park and back along the blue ridge parkway. I experienced plenty of heavy down pours so I got to see how the tent performs.

These tents are HUGE! I have two other tents I have used fairly often. One is my Half Dome 2, and the other is my Kingdom 4 with the Tech Garage which both come from REI.

I love my REI tents and didn't think I would be impressed with this one, but it has some unique features that even surpass the Kingdom 4.

Sorry, I have to say the quality of my REI tents have a slight advange, but to be honest, my kindgom 4 has a defect, although it doesn't effect how the tent functions.

This following review is MOSTLY from: Paha Que Screenroom 10x10 (Little Guy) (Misc.)

At first I was luke warm on this tent. I paid considerably more at the dealer(600) than from Little Guy Worldwide. Despite what is said, setup on these 10 by 10 rooms is easy. It absolutely requires two people, and yes the tent is heavy as you lift the poles up for the roof and place them in the corner gromets, but if you just pay attention to what you are doing, the tent will go up in minutes.

Just don't rush.

How water proof is this screened room?
When we unpacked it, I can say I didn't read the instructions, and set the tent up without the provided rain fly.

Size: 12x12-Feet Verified Purchase
Was very excited purchased this expensive screen room. I like the ideal that it can also be used as a tent instead of just the screenroom like other cheaper ones even I later realized we have to purchase another floor mat for $60.

It tooks me and my wife about 10-15 minutes to set it up in our back yard when we first received it, then we disassembled it. 3 weeks later, we went on our first camping trip. We carefully set it up after read all instructions, I also watched the manufactures youtube setting up videos at lease 3 times. The main pole broke on the first day, another pole broke the second day. We had to end our trip earlier due to the tent problem. uploaded the photo to the customer photo page.

For the money I paid, I could not expect this to happen. This tent was sold by amazon third party seller:Backcountry, amazon told me within 30days of purchase, I can submit a return request to seller Backcountry for the seller to generate a RMA number to return. We thought we were lucky because we had it about 28 days. Email sent to seller:Backcountry , no response. Return request sent to seller Backcountry, no response. There is no customer service from Backcountry.

Since I can't return it, I contacted the manufacture Paha Que, they were nicely sent me a set replacement poles.

I have owned many screen tents over the year, most recently a Kelty product that failed after one season like most of the do. I am going on my fourth season with this one and can see no signs at all of the product deteriorating. We have used it on warm sunny days and cold rainy windy days and have never had a problem. I particularly like that the four sidewalls can be used as awnings or put down to block out wind/rain/sun when we want it. Lots of well thought-out little features tells me this was designed by someone who actually camps, not a designer on a CAD program looking to cut costs. The aluminum poles are very strong and the set up was very easy. I do occasionally set it up by myself but usually with a friend or my wife to assist. The only way I could see someone breaking a pole on their first use was improperly setting it up and putting too much force on one pole. The instructions are well written and easy to follow, and I think they even have a set up video on You Tube. Overall I am very pleased with the quality and design of this product. 5 Stars!
