How customer reviews and ratings work
Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

iT IS A GREAT ALBUM, THE BEST SOUNDTRACK IN YEARS
Reviewed in the United States on May 20, 2005
well before i go on i dont actually own this album BUT ive listened to sampels (courtsy of amazon) and what ive heard sounds quite impressive.
The R.O.C: I am a HUGH fan of the roc kanye west, memphis bleek (even though his album M.A.D.E was a weak attempted ive heard 543 is ment to be a great comeback), beanie sigel, young gunz and of course jay-z. poeple like to critisise the roc but i wouldnt be to sure, the roc is slowly taking over (even though of reports its a "death of a dynasty"). The roc have so much potential with knock out artists that havent relised an album yet! (rell & n.o.r.e-ed). The main reason i think this album is so brilliant is Kanye West. He is slowly takeing over the rap game (G.O.O.D music signing Common is a fantastic idea, i hear BE is a hip/hop classic) and he will continue to shine with his new album "Late Registration". The R.O.C is faultless though with "mistake" artists like: Peddi Peddi A.K.A Peddi Crakk, Foxy Brown (a newlly signed person to the R.O.C), State Propety's awful attempts to be gangstar, Jewelz Santanas and of cource DJ Clue who goes for quantity over quality! Anyway now to the album:
Why not 5 Stars??? because of the following reasons:
1. That alful track with Master P (He uses the term "Master" loosly and who "No Limit" records made Snoop Dogg look desperate for a record deal!)
2. The awful comentry by DJ Clue or whoever it is! Why does he wreck classic Hip/Hop (Paid In Full-Eric.B and Ramkin)!!!!!!
Another reason wrong with the R.O.C (as much as i love them!) is sometimes they try a little to hard even though Hova's at a point were he can do just about anything at the moment. Songs like Champions which is a great song streachs the limits a little bit (BUT GREAT PRODUCTION BY KANYE WEST!).
In conclusion i would pick this album up if your a fan of the R.O.C (i will hope to get this album if i get the money and theres not to many more things i wan Law and Order SVU anyone???). Hope you enjoy the review and take into acount what i have said and STOP HATTING THE R.O.C!

As of today I still haven't received my CD that I ordered over a month ago. I ordered other CD'S directly from AMAZON.COM and I received ALL of them. I ordered two CD's from personal sellers and I never received either one. I am still waiting on a response from this seller inregards to my refund. I am very unhappy because I really really wanted this CD:(

How can you hate on a soundtrack that boasts tracks from the likes of BDP, Special Ed and Eric B & Rakim. If you like old school classics, then this soundtrack is something you need to add to your collection. However, the accompying mix-tape titled "Dream Team" is less than enticing.
The first track on the mixtape, "Champions," smaples the Queen track "We Are the Champions." This track is very, very good. Dame Dash co-produced this with Kanye West. They use the sample so well and everyone flows perfectly over the beat. Dame also announces the newest member of The Roc, Twista. The Roc is steadily becoming the east-coast version of No Limit Records, circa 1997.
After the first track, things go down hill very, very fast. "Bout It Bout It Part III" is the same beat with Cam'ron rapping. Nothing horrible, but not great either. Down the line we get WEAK tracks from Peedi Crakk, Memphis Bleek and even M.O.P. Really, the lyriscist aren't bad, but the production is. Just Blaze does good on his 3 tracks, but other production is weak.
So, if you buy this, buy it for the soundtrack and not the mixtape.
