From School Library Journal
PreSchool-Two rhyming board books that present familiar concepts. The first one introduces morning activities such as yawning, stretching, breakfast, getting dressed, and playtime. The second title looks at the various sleep outfits that the endearing creatures put on before joining a pajama party: "Pajammy to the left. Pajammy to the right.-Everybody's wearing them for dancing tonight." Everyone finally settles down, the lights are turned out, and wishes are shared for a hushed good night. Boynton's characters are as lovable as ever, all with expressions sure to win over toddlers.

Update, April 2013: At 2 years old now, this book has suddenly become a favorite before naptime, and during potty time. Maybe she can relate to the lyrics a little better now? I still think that the recorded song is a little better than the book, but she likes to read it now, and will sit on the potty to do her business while "reading" this. She has also discovered the fun of the cutout cover and will play peek-a-boo with it before naptime/potty time. I'm just giving it 4 stars because all the lyrics from the recorded song are not in this book, and if you attempt to sing it, you will need to modify some of the verses, but the gist of the song is there.
