I tried following some of the recipes using variations but my 7-year-old daughter hated everything. I'm a pretty good cook and she typically eats healthy. So, either the recipes are not very good or the substitutions didn't work well. Either case, waste of money for us. It seems that Googling recipes would be better for me.
Also, it is not a kid book, unless the author means for like 12+ to read on their own.
I gave 2 stars because it had nice pictures, the recipes seemed easy enough to follow. It shipped quickly as well.

My children are 16-11 years old, they are way beyond chicken nuggets as a staple. Sometimes we all have a craving for the types of foods that we are used to from youth, pre-Paleo days.
