1. This thing is tiny. The box says desk heater but the amazon listing says space heater. Definitely small desk size
2. Have been working for 20 minutes still won’t connect to WiFi. I have a smart enabled home so am familiar with the process but it’s not connecting
3. Paid for one day shipping on amazon, three days later it finally showed up
performance wise, it's 500w so didn't expect anything but it heating up 2ft or so area in front of my dresser so i stop freezing my behind off when i get out of my heated bed and get dress. This it will do but, it will not heat up the room itself, just 2ft area or so (like a computer desk area/side end table you sit next too). To actually feel the heat hit you, you have to stand 1 1/2 feet in front of it at 75 fan level, don't feel it at all after that. For me, 75 is the highest i can handle for fan wind noise is a lot louder upstairs in bedroom and it also makes whatever the background humming/bass kinda noise quite annoying over level 75, just bearable at 75 to me (this is without anything on in room like tv/radio, with noise in room, it isn't as noticeable). i also ran it for about 45 mins alternating from low and high to medium to high fan blowing speed when i first got it and it did not get hot to the touch...that is great for those of us with curious four legged and two legged creatures.
Overall, for my needs, i would buy this cute affordable wifi connecting heater again, it trully is adorable in person, works well so far (has no issue picking up my wifi even though router is downstairs behind tv and we don't have a wifi extender) and light weight too. For actually heating a larger area farther than 2-3ft, i would choose something else though.
It was easy to set up, works with Echo and is seriously the cutest heater I have ever seen. I have it on my desk to use when I am working. I love that can simply tell Alexa to turn it on and my area can be warmed up even before I start working. Highly recommend!!!
WiFi setup hasn’t worked for me yet. Just keeps saying that there’s a connection error. Our router is only supporting a couple phones and the occasional laptop, so it isn’t our bandwidth.
Seems to heat ok. But is not the “easy to use” “smart heater,” it’s sold to be. Keeping it as auxiliary heater in apt, but wouldn’t recommend it now that I’ve had some time with it.
Took a little time to figure out how to use it. I didn't connect with Alexa yet, but it is working well by itself for now. It is not burning my hands even after long use. The warmth is mild, which I like. I also used for my feet for a while, it is the job and I can say I am happy with it. Functional and nice device to keep on my working desk.
Also! This is not a space heater, on the box it clearly says desktop heater, so you should expect it to be much smaller than you'd think.
Also, why is there no fully manual option. This thing only works IF you're connected to their app.
I wanted to like this, but I do not recommend, especially for the price.
