Charger comes with batteries but....
Received the charger with batteries but the finished of the batteries are not proper. Refer to the attached picture, the bottom of the enclosed batteries are chipped. Don't think it will affect the performance of the battery but it is just not perfect.

As a photographer, battery use and longevity of charge are very important. Previously I have used rechargeable AA batteries and had to recharge them after every photo shoot. I learned about the Panasonic Eneloop pro AA batteries and decided to give them a try. After one photo shoot during which I frequently used the flash unit, the eneloop batteries were still fresh. I was impressed and bought two charging units with 4 AA batteries. To date, I have not used the battery chargers as the batteries are still nearly fully charged. One thing I liked about the chargers is that they can charge both AA and AAA eneloop batteries. I think the eneloop system is worth the price and an excellent value. I am glad I learned about eneloop batteries.

I've been using these for my wireless xbox controller. I just swap em out and charge the others while I'm using the charged ones. Been doing this for well over a year now with the same 4 batteries! These things are so dependable.

Charger works well too - takes about 14-15 hours to charge them all the way so I usually put them in before I go to bed.

They seem to stay pretty charged for a good while. These are the best rechargeable batteries I've been able to find. They work great in all kinds of things.

It is compact and holds charge well. It is great replacement for one time use batteries. Especially with kids toys, it is great to reuse them.

These batteries are only used once a week for the church microphones. The physical appearance wouldn't bother me much if it didn't affect the batteries but it does. It seems the decorative outer skin is also an insulation, because these batteries in the picture attached to not work sometimes. It seems they short out or something when in the mics. We no longer use these.

Other than that... The batteries deliver strong, long lasting power that last for entire day, and sometimes for two days when I forget to charge them. Power delivery is on point and saves us a lot of money buying batteries every month. Wish they address this in the future.

i was a little disappointed when i first got these cuz the shrinkwrap plastic around the battery was torn at the ends on just about every battery. not sure if this happened when i took them out of charger because they were in there so tight, or during manufacturing. but it seemed poor. but, i've used them anyways and they work great. i use them exclusively for my xbox controller cuz the play n charge kit still sucks. these last several times longer, like a full week or so gaming for several hrs a day. charge fairly quick, and hold that charge a good long time. right now i charge em up and sit them out until i need them. there is very little drop off, which is good and bad. the controller rarely says "low battery" before it's dead. so you don't get weird disconnect or anything towards the end but you also don't get much warning before your controller won't turn back on. overall i really like these as an alternative to play n charge kit, and also would not hesitate to use them for things like remote controls and what not. only thing there is that a couple AAA batteries last so ridiculously long that the return isn't quite there. but these have come a long way from the NiCd ones back in the day. hopefully these last much longer than those did.

I've been using Eneloop batteries exclusively in my Xbox controllers for several years now and can confidently say these are the best batteries I've ever used!

Not only do they last longer than the "name brand" Alkaline batteries I was previously using, they're rechargeable which results in less environmental waste and more money in my pocket. Win/Win!

I use these batteries primarily for my Xbox Series X controllers. I game several hours daily, as well as using to control/navigate apps, streaming, bluray player etc.. and these batteries last a week+ before needing to be recharged.

The charger(BQ-CC17) plugs directly into an outlet and is fairly low-profile. A green LED light is visible for each battery during the charging process. The LED lights turns off and the charger will shut-down once charging is complete. This is a great safety feature, especially for overnight charging. Charging takes approx. 7 - 8 hours to complete.
Since this package includes 4 AA batteries, its perfect for me as I can easily swap for 2 fresh batteries while 2 are being charged and ready for the next swap/rotation.

Previously spending $10 per month on non-rechargeables, these Eneloops have already paid for themselves. I've been using them exclusively for over a year with no issues.

If you're looking for long lasting, quality rechargeable batteries... I recommend you try Eneloops. ★★★★★
