If you’re debating buying these and anything like me... completely unaware of batteries like this and extremely skeptical about paying so much for batteries... you will be thankful you talked yourself into purchasing later on. I am pretty tech savvy and don’t live in a bubble so I’m not sure how I was completely unaware of eneloop and batteries that are similar, but so happy I found them. Sorry for the such a long post. I work on my house a lot and have many different “gadgets” that require batteries, as I’m sure most do also. I thought I went through a lot of batteries before my daughters were born. NOT EVEN CLOSE. My daughters are in the toddler stage and it seems like I’m installing or replacing batteries everyday. Not kidding.
So one day, I was fed up with the amount of money I was spending on batteries so I started researching solutions. *que music* ENTER ENELOOP. The solution to never buying batteries again (besides eneloop)
So what I discovered when researching was quite amazing. The set I purchased came with, I think, 4 AAA, 6 AA, a wall charger and a bunch of different adapters that allow you to use 1 AA battery instead of C or D batteries (which I didn't even know was possible) Yea, mind blown! So the adapter is the size of a C or D battery and you can unscrew one side to insert a AA battery. This has been awesome because it seemed like I would always need a C or D battery and never have them. Anyways, these batteries come pre-charged like 3/4 of the way full, and youre able to recharge them Over 2,000x. Yes, I said 2,000. When researching, there were a few key points I took away. If you are unsure of which ni-mh to buy, start out with the regular eneloop because they cover the most widely used applications. Now, I don't know all the tech details about these batteries and others, but I can say, so far, they have been great and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
For the future: Since I'm new and still learning about these types of rechargeable battery... First, I plan on purchasing a high-quality charger that is able to charge all different types of batteries w/o the worry of over/insufficient charging. Then I will look into buying the Eneloop pro or similar and the other styles/brands of NI-MH.
Reason for buying different types: the Eneloop Pro, Eneloop, and others have different ”self-discharge” capabilities, recharge cycles, and different mAH capacity. Meaning certain batteries contain more power but don't last as long which are good for high drain devices and the others don't have as much power but hold a charge and last longer.
Bottom line: when new to ni-mh batteries, it's a lot of information to take in. But if you take the time to learn the different types and how to care for them... It will have a tremendous impact. Once you know and purchase the right batteries for the right devices, you won't have to be throwing out and purchasing new batteries every week from the store. It's a little bit more of an investment upfront but the money saved in the long run will be incredible.

I absolutely love these batteries. I had been using rechargeable Energizer and Duracell batteries for years but was so frustrated with how often I had to recharge them. I finally decided to look into a different brand and, over the years, Panasonic has been my go to line for electronics. When I came across the Eneloop line of rechargeable batteries I was intrigued. Then when I found out that they were a line from Panasonic, I just had to give them a try. Well, I've had these for about 4 months now and I have to say that I am more than satisfied with them. The length in between charges is fantastic. I would say that these last about 7 to 8 times longer than the previous brands I mentioned. If this line of batteries maintains this level of quality it will be the only brand I ever use again. Looking forward to ordering more for every item we use batteries for. LOVE THEM!!!!

I’ve been using eneloop rechargeable batteries in my devices now for years. I started with generation one batteries and am now using generation four batteries. They have all performed above and beyond my expectations for nearly a decade now. They are truly the best rechargeable batteries on the market. Buy with confidence.
