I like the storage/carrying case that is provided. It really keeps things organized. The C and D battery adapters are really easy to use. You simply open the lid, put the AAA or AA battery inside (AAA for the C battery adapter and AA for the D battery adapter) and close the lid. It's that simple. The charger has the ability to hide the prong when not in use and make storing it easy if you don't want to use the provided case. I have not used them yet because I bought these specifically for my wireless gaming controllers and they still have the regular batteries in them. Once they are dead I'm really excited about using these since Panasonic is know for making really great Enelope batteries. Hope this review helps, thanks.

Not like the oldschool rechargeables

We all remember when rechargeable batteries came out. They were nice at the time, but they didn't last long, and if you stored them for any amount of time you usually had to recharge them again before using. My husband discovered eneloop rechargeable batteries about three years ago. He bought a set with 8 AA batteries and the charger. We still have them, and they are still going strong. Loved them so much, he's bought many other sets that had more AA and AAA batteries, plus the set of cases that converts AA into C or D batteries. Works perfectly. They have replaced all our disposable batteries. By the time we get around to using the ones that have been sitting in storage for a year, they still are almost fully charged. My brother and his wife just had their first baby who made 4 months at Christmas, so I bought this set for my brother after visiting and seeing how many batteries they were going through on all the powered baby stuff. If you ever use batteries, you need eneloop in your life.

I've been using Eneloop for about six years. They work great and pay for themselves in no time.

I work nights so for me Eneloops are the best investment I can make. I'm still using a set of 6 rotated aaa's from 6-7 years ago. My led head lamp takes 3 aaa. Using 3 while charging 3.

I should try to figure out how much money just these 6 aaa's have saved me. Wow.

You will make your money back in a week.

I didn't even need this order but I'm wanting to pass out the charger and some aa's to a son inlaw. The rest goes in my ammo box of Eneloops!

Great batteries, not sure I see a value in the case as a set

The batteries themselves are great. They last a long time, are easy to charge, great overall. I have some others and they are great. Be aware that the AAA batteries are used in the C battery adapters, and the AA batteries are used in the D adapters. This may influence your purchase. The set comes with what you really need in my opinion although it might be nice to have a couple more AAA batteries, but I already had some more of those.

The biggest thing that I don’t see a value in is the case. I feel like these are already expensive, and I think you pay extra for the case. However, it’s kind of like you either buy a gazillion batteries with no charger (I needed this as I lost mine) or you buy this expensive set where you pay for a case that I am throwing away (yes I know you can piece a set together but then you are definitely paying more). I just think I’d rather save a few bucks and have no case.

Overall, I have no complaints about the batteries themselves, I just wish there was a better set to buy. Luckily, I don’t need any more, and because these work well, I won’t need to buy anymore anytime soon.

Good value for AA and AAA rechargeable batteries. The only issue that I am having is using the C adapter covers. The C adapters are great for installing horizontally but not good for items needing the batteries to be installed vertically. I have a Mr. Christmas ceramic Christmas Tree that I specifically purchased the C adapters for. When I installed the C adapters they pushed against the cover. One does not seem to fit correctly so it makes one side of the cover extend outward. There is no connection so the item cannot receive the power it needs to light up. I tried using a piece of tap to hold the cover down but it does not work in the long run.

After going thru countless official Xbox one battery packs and other retail branded batteries. I have found the best solution and I highly recommend these. The only problem will be not having enough of them, lol. Obviously there's no way to really judge durability until they have used for the longrun. However, the build quality is premium and makes other options look noticeably inferior. If any problems arise, I'll update this but as of now. I can't find a better solution then this. Currently Best Buy does carry them but make sure to avoid the pro series. Due to less recharge cycles and mostly like high cost. Overall I'm satisfied

Good batteries, decent charger, case is lacking

The long story is that for general household use, this will work just fine.

The batteries are standard Eneloops; they're pretty much the standard for low-self-discharge rechargeable batteries, and with good reason.

The charger is pretty basic, but fundamentally sound. Could be better, but perfectly suitable for most use.

The case is a mixed bag. The case body is solid. The hinge is good, but the clasps are 'living' and will eventually wear out. The worst part, I think, is the insert: it's very thin plastic which I feel sure will quickly wear out; another $1-2 would be well worthwhile for a better insert.

I personally don't have any use for the C and D adapters, so those went to the kitchen junk drawer and I put some Eneloops I already owned in those slots. The C slots will fit 5x AAA batteries, the D slots will fit 4x AA batteries.
