This nose and ear hair trimmer does exactly what it proposes to do, and how! As we all age, I am now a 67 years old grandfather, our hair growth in these areas is interesting in that hair grows much faster than when we were younger. I started out attempting to use my "facial hair trimmer" which worked well on beards, sideburns, and moustaches, but would often nick my nose and ears causing bleeding, etc. But this new, circular-bladed device makes quick work of accurately trimming both nose and ear hair. It collects the cuttings for easy disposal. It runs on a single, AA battery, which lasts quite awhile and is very easy to change out. This is priced for seniors and should last our lifetimes. Heck, pass this baby done as an heirloom to your own aging offspring!

Pay for the Quality
My older Panasonic nose trimmer finally gave out after more than 20 years of faithful service. The motor runs but it doesn't turn the blade mechanism. Based on my personal experience with my previous model I decided to buy another Panasonic. I didn't realize there were so many models but chose this model because of the price. Set up was easy and I went right to wacking my nose and ear hairs. The motor is powerful yet doesn't make an irritating amount of noise when you work your ears. The shape is different than my previous model and will take some adjusting when using but I like the ergonomics of this newer model. All in all another home run by Panasonic and win for me if it lasts me another 20 years!

I have been using this style for years. I use it around my ears and for my eyebrows and stuff and it has always cut well and very close to the skin (much better than other brands I've tried.) However, if you drop it, or it falls on the bathroom tile, it just never works the same. But I totally get that, and that's why I've purchased 8ish of these over the last 7/8 years. They have always been the same and always worked great.
BUT, I just dropped my old one and purchased a new one (5/1/24). The new one (gray top) showed up and apparently Panasonic has "updated it." It is now terrible. It barely cuts and when it does, it's nowhere near as close as the old one. You can see in the pictures that the new one (gray top) has a minor change to the head, but it makes a major difference. I've tossed out several other brands over the years because they didn't cut as well as the old style (black top) Panasonic one...this new one is as bad, if not worse, than ones I've tossed.
I feel willy writing such a long review about something so trivial, but I guess the old adage of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" applies here, and companies making once-solid products worse really bugs me.
