This batter dispenser has a design flaw. There is a raised rim inside the spout that makes it difficult to get the last of the batter out, because the rim impedes the free flow of the batter. (I tried to show this in the picture.) It takes a lot of extra scraping with a spatula to get it all.It is also difficult to fully clean. I have to thoroughly rinse it immediately after use to ensure that the batter doesn't dry in the spout. I didn't do that the first time, and it was very hard to get all of the dried batter off. It also made the handle stick. The mechanism isn't super sturdy, so I think it would eventually break if this continues to happen.Thie batter dispenser is easier to use than a ladle, and I do like it. It makes cooking pancakes a little more fun. I will continue to use it since my husband loves my homemade buttermilk pancakes.
