Crimps come in two different forms: as a bead or as a tube.

When crimped properly with a crimp tool, this tiny crimp doesn't detract from your design, and looks quite nice.

When creating jewelry, you want the best findings for the project, so it's important to learn all about the crimps you will be using.

Crimps are designed to work with Jewelry Wire. If you are working with jewelry wire, it is more than likely you will work with crimps.

These durable little findings will provide your designs with security and add professional finishing touches. Best of all, they are easy to use!


Q: Why do my crimp tubes slide off? A: It's important to use the right tool and the right crimps. We recommend the sterling silver and the gold-filled crimp tubes for the best results. You can use a flat-nose pliers to squeeze your crimp tubes, but a specialized bead crimping tool is the best to use.	Remember, it is not necessary to squeeze too hard on the crimp tube when attaching it to the wire. The crimp tube is secured when there is no space between the wire and the inside of the tube. Squeezing too hard weakens the crimp.	Q:What crimp tools suit for crimping work? A: It is important that you use the right size tool for your crimp tubes. For 1mm crimp tubes, we recommend the Micro Crimper. For 2mm crimp tubes, we recommend the Bead Crimper Tool. For 3mm and 4mm crimp tubes, we recommend using either the Mighty Crimper or Bent Chain Nose Pliers.

Cheap price = cheap product. These were a complete waste of money. The metal is so thin, that once crimped, it can actually be opened with just your fingernails. Not sturdy at all. I purchased these because a reviewer said they are "just as good as the expensive brands". I hope by leaving this review, someone else doesn't end up wasting their time with these.

I have broken more of these flimsy crimp tubes than I've been able to use. The metal is very thin, and breaks, even when using a crimp tool. I am an experienced jewelry maker, and am very disappointed in the sub-par quality of this item.

These crimps are very brittle, so even crimping them makes them split. I don’t feel confident using them in my projects for fear that they’ll break or crack during wear, and the piece will be ruined.

Ugh. These are insanely flimsy and worthless. If you crimp strongly enough to actually close it around the wire, the fishing wire breaks. Otherwise, the tube isn’t secure and slips out.

Pictures on the left are three of these tubes, in comparison to a quality crimp tube on the right. Notice the DRASTIC difference in size and thickness.

SKIP THESE and pay a little more for ones that work!

I purchased 1Box/1260pcs of Pandahall Brass 2mm Crimp tube, 6 colors (Antique Bronze, Red Copper, Black, Silver, Golden & Platinum).
I have been making jewelry for over 15 years and decided to purchase from a new company Pandahall and try the product mentioned above. I attempted to use different tools with no success, when you press on these brass crimp tubes they crack and brake so there is no way to use them to finish a jewelry project.

For the money it's worth it. Some of them are too small but with how many you get just throw those away and move on (or save them for something like earrings that don't need 2 strings to fit together. Will get again. They are perfect and just as sturdy as the other ones I had that were way more money.
As a note I make bracelets with them.
