About the authors

Sarah Read writes and reads dark fiction in Colorado. She is Fiction Editor for Pantheon Magazine. When she's not playing with words, she's playing with yarn. Her hands are perpetually covered in ink.

Lee L. Krecklow earned his bachelor’s degree from UWM, where he focused on film studies, English, and journalism. His short fiction has appeared in more than a dozen literary journals, including Oxford Magazine, Midwestern Gothic, The Tishman Review, December Magazine, and Necessary Fiction, and he's the author of the novel The Expanse Between (WGP, 2017).
Additionally, Lee writes fiction and non-fiction for children dealing with emotional challenges, such as anxiety, anger, and confidence. He lives with his wife and three children in the Milwaukee area, where he coaches fastpitch softball and cheers relentlessly for the Brewers.
