Then the top of the head comes with a plastic piece of tube that you must insert in the upper lining of the head for shape and support to keep it from drooping. However the tube kept curling up into a small circle after being inserted causing the top of the costume to droop/flip down. I think it would be okay if they would package that piece already in place or just not curl the plastic piece up for shipping purposes.
Besides those two issues, my son would have to keep his arm lifted all night to keep the face from flopping over.
So I would not recommend it to anyone. I think you would be better off buying one of these masks...
I was able to straighten it out pretty well by running sections of it under my hottest tap water and pulling it straight while the tube cooled. After my son wore it for halloween, I have to change my review to only 1 star. It was very uncomfortable for my son to wear. He said it was itchy. The ears & crown kept flopping forward and unless you walk around with your arms stuck out straight, it just looks pathetic. I felt bad for him. We almost went home and changed him into last year's Spiderman costume.
We had a neighborhood farmers market where kids could trick or treat the weekend before Halloween so I tried it out on my son. The sewn in straps for the pillow cases were a good idea to keep the pillows in place, however, the straps were short so they did not fit around my son's chest (he's in the 20th % for weight so not a husky kid so I had to tie it from under his arm around his neck like a sling. He found that to be extremely uncomforable. The other issue was that he had to keep his arms outstretched to prevent the costume from collapsing on itself. Because there was really no structure to the garment, you only could get the effect as pictured if your arms were outstretched and if you added some extra pillows.
By the end of the ordeal my son said he did not want to wear the costume and went with Batman instead. Unfortunately a waste of money on this one.

The costume did not maintain it's structure and was rather flat. The plastic piping that was to assist with the "roundness" did not stay in its place so at times it poked... Read morePublished 15 months ago by Bernadette Batista
Cute idea, however it comes all folded and basically wants to stay in the shape it was folded. Flopped all over looks nothing like it did in the picture once on.Published 20 months ago by Amazon Customer
It doesn't look like the picture when it's worn. The pillow holder worn underneath only provides stuffing in the center so the costume isn't made to lay like pictured. Read morePublished 21 months ago by Carolyn Littlejohn

It wasn't studry at all. Very uncomfortable that my son wouldn't even wear it on Halloween. He wore it to one event and said he would rather be something else on Halloween!Published on November 30, 2013 by Mary Thomas
