We could not find any in our local office supply stores and were thrilled to find them still available online.
The thing that sets these pencils apart from other mechanical pencils is the location of the clicker that advances the lead.
These pencils have the clicker in a location that is perfect for him. His finger rests on the clicker at all times and he doesn't have to stop drawing to advance the lead.
He loves them!
I bought a single set of Clickster pencils back in high school and only now, almost ten years later, have I found a need to replace them. The pencils are sleek, sturdy, and comfortable (although they lack a padded finger rest, so the less calloused among us might find them uncomfortable without buying one separately), and they're shaped in such a way that the thumb or forefinger can rest on the button and easily dispense lead almost without pause.
Have used them for years and will until a better comes along.

I've been through dozens of these. The best side-clicker on the market!Published 3 months ago by Dexterity Health
The pencils I received were completely different from the picture. They did not have the same grip and are uncomfortable to use. Read morePublished 19 months ago by JDV
