Good product but check dimensions

This is good strong cord, and shipping was fast, but the dimensions are incorrect. It is listed as 1.85mm in diameter, but it does not come close to fitting into a 2.0mm hole. I measured it and it is closer to 2.5-3.0 mm. I'll keep it and use it for something else.

Paracord for shoelaces and McGyver'ing

I have a pair of combat boots that I use rather actively over a broad range of activities. Recently, my shoelaces busted. Since laces are fairly expensive in the store, I instead decided to purchase paracord due to my very positive experiences w/other paracord products. Item arrived promptly and safely packaged. It is however not on a roll, which could cause problems if you store it in a careless manner as it will surely become tangled after a few uses. I recommend rolling the cord over the palm of your hand or using a cylindrical object upon receiving it. Repackaging only takes a few minutes. The color of Tan499 matches my boots almost perfectly. Please appreciate that his is a very thin cord, although the quality of the cord is superb and I ended using the cord for lifting and tying projects. I am certain that it could come in handy on a multitude of projects, especially if you are an outdoor type of individual. I have not been able to tear or rip it and believe me I have tried. Use a knife, shears, or hot object to cut. The ends will frail after cutting and either need to be melted, taped, or covered w/something to prevent that from happening. Overall, this was a very satisfying purchase

This is my second order for a 100' of paracord.
My first order I was shorted 45' of cord.
My second order I was shorted 14' of cord.
Since Amazon refunded my $8.99 for the first, supposedly 100' package, I figured we were even.
This is a very good paracord, everything I had expected it to be... except for the shortage in length.

"Delicate" Paracord

I needed cording for a collar to fit my wife's small dog. Type III paracord was just too big for a 12 lb dog, given the pattern I was weaving.
Type I cord is about the same diameter as the yarn used to knit a baby blanket, just much denser. It's probably half the cross-section of Type III
I should have used 3/8" buckles, instead of 5/8. It would have fit much better.
The size of this cording is perfect for more delicate projects.

The picture doesn't do justice to the design. I've used this paracord for basic lashing, detail work in weaving projects, and even used it to replace a part of a whip. No matter what I throw at it, there seems to be no task that you need a thin, strong string for that this won't handle better than just about anything else.
