Used it to attach a modern LCD monitor to an old Tandy 1000 computer.

Package arrived crushed, held together with tape, with no instructions. There is what appears to be water marks on the bottom of the board. Luckily it was padded in bubble wrap inside the box, and does power up & send a signal over VGA, so it's probably ok. Probably.

The link to paradisearcadeshop in the product description is dead, so I was forced to google around for a manual. I found one that appears to be right, but some of the headers listed in the manual are not on this board, and it goes into almost no detail on the signals.

The cable from my cabinet doesn't match the CGA pinout on this board, but that was expected. Given the partial manual and a bit of fiddling, you can switch the OSD into English, and scan or select your input signal. Since my pinouts don't match, I've been experimenting with clips to find the right match, and have been able to get at least part of the video signal, so this will probably work fine in the end. It's just really annoying not to have the real manual, which would hopefully answer many of my questions about ground & sync.

I'll update my review if/when I get it working, to help anyone else modding an old cabinet with one of these.

Low quality video output to VGA but it might be a bad VGA cable. Will retest.

I had a Toobin' that the monitor was going out on. Since medium resolution tubes are hard to find I picked up an LCD and this little baby. It was very easy to install and set up. The only issue I have had with it, is that sometimes one of the colors will boost on the screen. It may be that I have too much voltage going to it. Some people say these things are finicky with the voltage, but I have put anywhere from 5.03v to 4.95v and not had an issue with it. I may turn it down to 4.95v to see if that resolves my color boosting issue, since that is what is recommended by others to do.

Good product but I hope you read Mandarin if you want to use the menu.
Used to convert 6 pin RGB to VGA on Robotron acrade machine. Not sure if CGA works as first attempt was unsuccessful but It could be a poor wiring issue. Annoyingly though the OSD menu is mostly Chinese.
Power supply not included but has two options, DC jack and header pins. Comes with power header pin lead and RGB header pin leads but does not come with anything else.

Overall I'm happy with the purchase but as with many Chinese made electronics there is room for improvement.
