well the first word that comes to mind is....duh! the movie industry, particularly the horror movie industry, could not possibly allow 'Saw' to be the last horror franchise to attempt the ever popular 80's horror trend of countless sequels. and considering the fact that they are making an INSANE profit on this franchise and will no doubt come out ahead even if it flops should leave no one surprised that a 3rd installment was coming. im already predicting they will go to 5 or even further. curiosity alone will keep people going. the first received HUGE fan criticism, they were laughed at when they announced the sequel, and yet it still set records on a budget with pennies. ill be the first to say im glad this is happening. i was too young to get into the Michael/Freddy/Jason sequel frenzy and just completely lost interest in Saw, so with the Oct. 21 2011 release date and Scream 4 also coming next years this just might be a good year for the bloody-disgusting crowd
