Author: G. Malone
Title: Paranormal Heat
Genre: Paranormal Erotica
Date published: March 27, 2015
This book of short stories is perfect for readers on-the-go. Varying from 8 to 15,000 words, Paranormal Heat contains three spicy stories with a paranormal twist. For readers 18+ due to graphic sexual content and strong language. NSFW.
MADNESS- Vincent finds himself in the same room as his beautiful wife and the handsome shifter he's been having an affair with on the side one night. Will catastrophe follow or is there something more?
COUGAR'S HEAT- Beckham Marlow returns home for summer break from college and runs into his old babysitter. Allie Buchanan, recently widowed and harboring a secret, may make their reunion a little friendlier than originally anticipated. Cougars can be fun and somewhat naughty, but what happens when Beckham discovers Allie is the real deal?
CHAPTER FORTY-TWO- A twenty-something author decides he needs a change and moves halfway across the country in hopes of overcoming his writer’s block so he can finish the ultimate fantasy romance novel. Instead he inherits a pretty little blonde ghost who can’t seem to keep her hands off him. Most ghosts have an appetite for mischief, but Keegan Taylor’s ghost girl is hungry for him.
I picked this up because I follow a blog the author runs, and I was interested in seeing his writing. This genre is quite out of my comfort zone, but I'm working on trying new things... so I figured this book is a good place to start.
The sexy bits are definitely that. I'm not big into reading sex scenes, but they seem repetitive to me. These stories weren't.
My issue with them was the editing. There's many times I was pulled out of the story because of it.
Anyway, this was one hell of a book to jump into without having much experience with this genre. But I don't regret reading it. You should give it a look see.
I neeeeed you to write more of Cougar's Heat. Please, I'm begging you.
So if you haven't noticed, I loved these short stories. I'm not a big fan of short stories but I loved these. G's writing is easy to read and the story really captures you. I read part of his works back when he first posted Madness online. I knew I needed to read the rest after that. So I followed him and kept following him. Only now I hope he graces us with a full story. My imagination was running wild with the possibilities from Madness and Cougar's Heat. Thank you for allowing me to read your stories. I can't wait for more!!
So much depth to these short stories.
When I picked up this book, a series of short erotic stories, I knew that meant straight to the good stuff. I did not however anticipate such great character development and stories I want more of.
Through each short story, the characters were different their sexual encounters completely their own. Not one ever mirroring or resembling another.
I loved Allie and Beck's story, I want more of them I want to read more about them. And not just the "good stuff."
This collection of short stories, is panty soaking good! The Title is fitting, I certainly feel like I have gone into heat...And if you read it just before bed like I did, you end up getting double the fantasy.
G. Mallone doesn't just write seedy sex scenes, he writes about the passion, the carnal desires, the urgent need these characters are feeling, and he does it flawlessly.
What ever you do, do not stop writing G. I am looking forward to more from you, and hopefully a novel??? **wink, wink**
