When I was finished this book, I went back to the 1980s when Bill Cosby was one of America’s most beloved entertainers instead of a polarizing figure hindered by scandals. Cosby carved a niche with his insights on being a parent on TV with “The Cosby Show,” onscreen with “Bill Cosby: Himself” and with books like “Fatherhood.” While he has a different style from Cosby of course, Cate offers much the same wisdom and humor on the important topic of being a parent. Cate’s is a voice that people need to listen to. They’ll learn from him and, just as importantly, enjoy listening and reading from him. Highly recommended.
One of my favorite lines so far: "Toddlers sometimes think they need deodorant. But that always changes when they realize how bad it tastes."
This husband and wife team of professors gives The ParentNormal Crash Course an A+!!!
