Dr O'Leary's book is totally different.... it's written in a very large font with plenty of spacing, isn't stuffed with case studios (just a few humorous notes to make us feel we're not alone), but most importantly actions that are easy to do.
Ironically I read the first chapter sitting outside my daughters therapist appointment and immediately put it into action, I swear I saved 1,000 words that evening alone, if I didn't read anything else in the book (I have though) this would have earned a five star review.
I now have a huge question mark on my kitchen blackboard as a reminder that if she didn't ask a question I don't need to answer, I am no longer reacting to statements that don't require debate...
Thank you Dr O'Leary.

The author, Dr. Stephanie O'Leary (let's just call her Stephanie, because reading this book made me feel like I was having a cup of coffee with a friend) gets it that parenting is a tough job. She gets it that the love shared between a parent and child is like no other love. SHE's real, just like the title and tools of the book! You won't be disappointed! Make 2017 your best parenting year ever by reading "Parenting in the Real World" early and often.
