If you’re reading this book, chances are you’re interested in starting a parents’ revolution in your own school district or neighborhood. What follows are twelve essential and battle-tested strategies for fighting back against your school’s implementation of critical race theory, radical gender ideology, and the political agenda du jour that the Educational Industrial Complex is putting into school with your tax dollars paying the bills. Each chapter focuses on a single rule that any parent can use to successfully fight the radical woke agenda in their hometown. I’ll use stories from my own activism to demonstrate how these strategies have worked.

Ian Prior is one of the most recognizable voices in the parents’ revolution that has swept the country. Ian began his career as an attorney in New England in 2002 after graduating from Boston University School of Law. He transitioned into politics in 2011, working on various Republican campaigns before serving as a top spokesman at the Justice Department. Ian is married and has two daughters in elementary school in Loudoun County Public Schools in Virginia. In 2021, Ian formed the group “Fight for Schools."

    As a Loudoun dad who was active in the fight, I had a front seat to this spectacle. Reading a pre-release copy of this book, I was impressed by Ian's ability to—in a smart, fun, and often humorous way—condense the events into an engaging narrative while simultaneously training readers to fight and win the same battles in their own localities.

    I expect no single publication will better record this history for posterity.

    Ian Prior masterfully recounts the disturbing chain of events that unfolded in the Loudoun County, Virginia, public schools from 2019 to 2023 and leading to the concerned parents even being designated as potential terrorists (!) by the Biden administration. The story, brought to the attention of the nation and the world in part by the author's own timely application of his 'particular set of skills,' awakened and galvanized concerned citizens across the country in support of parents’ rights and the protection of children from predatory harm at the hands of woke ideologues who were more interested in pushing their radical political agenda than preserving the safety and future success of our precious kids.

    Everyone should read this book.
