Stay warm and comfortable, no matter the season, in our Thermodown 0 down sleeping bag. With excellent materials and performance, your search for the perfect four season backpacking bag ends here!
Cold weather is no match for the 32 oz. of 700-fill power down insulation stuffed into every corner of this bag. You will stay warm down to 0F (-17C). However, the added warmth does not compromise on size and weight. The bag comes in at only 3 lb and packs to just 10 x 8 in.
We've done our best to make this a great bag!
► On warm nights, easily shed heat with the two-way YKK zipper.
► To prevent annoying snags, we've incorporated a wide zipper guard.
► To keep the heat in, a draft collar automatically wraps around your neck. Avoid draw strings or itchy velcro. The fully contoured hood can also be completely cinched down.
► A roomy trapezoidal foot box with extra insulation will keep your toes nice and warm.
The bag comes with a durable compression sack. Between trips, use the included mesh storage bag or hang loops to properly store the bag.

The material feels nice against you and the zippers work great with minimal snagging. The draft guard along your shoulders and zipper are great and help keep you warm on those cold nights. The only gripes I have are that the string along your head/face to cinch things down is a bit uncomfortable until you get in the right area. It's hard to get things pulled together without the head strap pulling hard down on my forehead. What I've figured out is that I can pull one side of the string to tighten down the forehead area, the other to pull down the neck area, or pull the entire thing at once to pull both together. It takes a bit longer to do, but it's not a big deal and I've found my sweet spot after using it for a bit. The other con is that I have really wide/broad shoulders and for those people this bag can be a little tight along your torso. I still fit and can zip everything up though. When I'm in I can move around a bit and shift from back to side sleeping no problem...it just makes pulling up the last 6-8 inches of the zipper up a bit difficult. I have to pull myself to one side to give the zipper as much slack as possible, and it comes right up. Again, it takes a bit longer but nothing to really complain about. For the average size person I think the cut of this mummy bag would be perfect. For someone with broad shoulders it might be a bit of a tight fit but it should still work out after you take a few minutes to try it out before taking it on a trip.
All in all I'm really happy with this bag and it feels and performs like high quality without having to pay outrageous prices at REI for an equivalent 700 fill power down bag rated for 0 degrees.
