Stay warm and comfortable, no matter the weather, in our Thermodown 15 down sleeping bag. With excellent materials and performance, your search for the perfect backpacking bag ends here!
Cold weather is no match for the 28 oz of 600-fill power down insulation stuffed into every corner of this bag. You will stay toasty warm down to 15F (-10C). However, the added warmth does not compromise on size and weight. The bag comes in at only 2 lb 14 oz. and packs down to just 11 x 8 in.
We've done our best to make this a great bag!
► On warm nights, easily shed heat with the large two-way YKK zipper which opens from top and bottom.
► To prevent annoying snags, we've incorporated a wide zipper guard.
► To keep the heat in, a draft collar automatically wraps around your neck. No need to deal with draw strings or itchy velcro. The fully insulated and contoured hood can also be completely cinched down.
► A roomy trapezoidal foot box with extra insulation will keep your toes nice and warm.
The bag comes with a durable compression sack allowing you to easily fit the bag into your pack. Between trips, use the included mesh storage bag or hang loops to properly store the bag.

Warm - We were around 10,000 ft on Friday night and it was in the upper 30's. I slept in a t-shirt and shorts. Sometimes that's too little clothing in a sleeping bag. But this bag did GREAT. Not too hot, not too cold. Just like the 3 bears. It was in the 50's the next night (lower altitude) and it was the exact same experience. I slept like a baby.
Soft on skin - The material was very nice to sleep in and lay on top of. Soft and super squishy like it should be.
Fast fluffing - I purposely did not throw the bag in my drier to fluff the fabrics before we left to hike - like the instructions said to do. I left the bag in the stuff sack to see how well it reacted when pulling out for the first time. I did this because I don't believe many people will actually go through that process. People are lazy. So I wanted to see what the experience was if I just pulled it out and used it. I was VERY happy when I did. It took about 20 minutes of the bag laying on my sleeping pad for it to fluff up on it's own. And once air filled the baffles it was fantastic.
Length - At 6'0 I am usually in a bag that is either too long or too short. Which is strange since I've never thought of 6'0 as tall or short. Either way, this bag had my feet sitting comfortable at the end of the foot-box, and about an inch of extra space at the head in the pouch. Perfect.
Size - This thing gets SMALL. I mean stupid small. Smaller than advertised. One of the guys I was with had a Marmot Always Summer bag and the Paria bag was smaller when in the stuff sack. I also love that it came with the stuff sack AND a mesh storage bag. Those are not the same thing and Paria understands that. Good job!
Compared to the previously mentioned Marmot Always Summer bag...
1. Friend complained a couple times about being too hot or too cold. Not the Paria bag!
2. Paria bag was about $50 cheaper than Marmot
3. Paria bag came with a storage bag AND stuff sack. Marmot only came with a stuff sack that they also call a storage bag.
Love this bag. Took a small risk due to this being somewhat of a new manufacturer to the outdoors world, but if this is how they make products I will buy more! Great value!
I have slight concerns with some of the parts: The mesh storage sack is small relative to other down bags i have owned. The stitching on the mesh bag seems fragile, and the draw-cord does not run through reinforced grommets or stitching and this is the same for the draw-cord on the hood. The zipper is a good one, pull cords attached and can be zipped as easily from the inside as out. It did not snag.
Other bags I have owned: TNF Blue Kazoo, Mountain Hardware Phantom 32, various Coleman bags.
