This is another example of taking a serendipitous chance with great results. I've never heard of The Toure'-Raichel collective. The music is interesting, if you must classify it's a mix of jazz and "world music". I like the break from the norm and a chance to expand my listening horizons, plus the price was right $5. Not a major expenditure for someone you've never heard before, and whom I will dig a little deeper into. My advice...go for it.

Il disco è splendido. Voglio però raccontare altro: quando è arrivato, mancava all'interno il booklet con i testi. Informato l'help di Amazon, questo ha stabilito che i testi ci dovevano essere e hanno avviato la procedura di sostituzione: in 3 giorni è arrivata una nuova copia:però anche questa senza booklet. L'help di Amazon a questo punto ha prospettato due possibilità:la restituzione e il rimborso, oppure l'attesa di trovare una copia con booklet, che però avrebbe potuto essere anche molto lunga. Ho optato per la prima soluzione.
Fatta una breve ricerca, ho trovato il sito del produttore, Cumbancha, dove si dice che il disco è corredato di "booklet di 17 pagine con foto e testi". Proceduto all'acquisto online, dopo due giorni mi scrivono che però il booklet non c'e', si tratta di un errore nella recensione, ed esiste solo in forma digitale, scaricabile gratuitamente.... A me resta il sospetto che il booklet ci fosse nella prima emissione del cd, e che nelle copie ristampate in seguito non sia stato più inserito ... (il primo cd della serie, "The Tel Aviv Session" è corredato di booklet, anche se in questo caso lo si può pure scaricare in formato digitale...)
Aggiungo che ho cercato il disco sul sito del produttore (Cumbancha) dove si dice a chiare note che contiene un booklet di 17 pagine. Scrivo per informazioni, e mi rispondono che c'e' un errore sul sito, il booklet non c'e' (è solo scaricabile in formato pdf) e provvederanno a correggere le informazioni. Nel frattempo mi propongono l'acquisto corredato da un set di cartoline riguardanti il disco. Così lo acquisto, e mi arriva dopo 1 mese, senza booklet e senza nemmeno le promesse cartoline. Stavolta la tasca interna 8che doveva contenere il booklet) è chiusa con la colla. Il tutto per 28 euro, 10 in più rispetto ad Amazon. L'acquisto più sfortunato della carriera....
PS: per fortuna le cartoline alla fine me le hanno mandate!
