About the Author
Patricia K. Batta has a bachelor's degree from the University of Puerto Rico and a master's degree in teaching from Oberlin College. After teaching elementary school in Ohio and Pennsylvania, she moved to Seattle, Washington, where she resided for twenty-one years. After her husband's death, Batta returned to her hometown of Traverse City, Michigan. Over the years Batta wrote sporadically and, by the time she retired, two mysteries were written and a third had begun.
