I ordered this so called oyster shucker and then waited and waited and waited for it to arrive. When it finally did arrive I found it useless. Folding a towel over the oyster and laying it on a cutting board is much easier. I tried and tried to open an oyster but didn't succeed with even one oyster. Finally looked up "oyster shucker" on google and found many web sites for instructions. Not one of those websites recommend using anything even similar.
