I noticed a review stating the handle came to a sharp point. That is correct. I took a couple of minutes with a fingernail file and smoothed it if and then polished the now slightly rounded point with fingernail polishing paste. Hey, horn is just about like fingernail! Worked great but the manufacturer really should do this.

He was very excited when he got it and said it is very well balanced and although the handle is smooth it does not slip in his hand when wet, it has a very comfortable and easy to hold onto. This is a beautiful, real-horn handle razor that's as classy and unique as it is functional. I've used the Fusion system for some time and am very familiar with the great shave it provides, but until now had never seen the Fusion with any kind of "natural" handle. The Ox Horn really makes the razor - it's not only attractive & classy, but large enough and comfortable enough (more so than the standard razor handle)to make my shave a pleasure. The finish is superb, the feel is nice, and the handle and blade together are perfectly balanced. And it also matches my Ox Horn handle shave brush - adds "class" to my bath.

Although constructed of Ox Horn, color lacked subtle variation and might be mistaken for a solid tan plastic material. Secondly, I noticed a looseness in the mounting between the handle and the razor itself, which could result in possible nick or cut to a person's face if the razor moved or wobbled while shaving. Obviously, Parker has an excellent reputation, but couldn't take chances and returned it.

Head was loose right out of the box and has gotten worse. Horn part looked good initially, but does not do well when it gets wet (something prone to happen with shaving). Shiny part that holds razor looks very cheap in real life. Would not recommend
