I was looking for a cable to connect my phone to my cars sound system. The six feet is more than enough to pass the phone around to friends who want to web surf or play games while playing music. The cable was thicker than I expected it to be, which is nice so it should last for many years to come. The contacts are gold plated and the music sounds like it is supposed to so no static. It came to me two days early, which was a nice surprise in the mail, so the dealer knows what they are doing. Good Job.

Went down to the store to get one of these and didn't like that it was going to cost $12. Came home checked online to find something cheaper but was a little scared because it was so cheap. Saw another review said basically what I was thinking but that it worked great. That it does. I don't notice any difference between my TV volume vs computer volume. I have to turn the computer volume up more but that was just because on the actual speakers of the TV. I recommend these to anyone who is looking for them.

Sound was terrible from my iphone to the aux port in my car. I had to continually jiggle the cable to get it to work. I bought one at Fry's for $7 and it works perfect. It's too cheap to bother returning so I threw mine in the trash.

It works perfect for what I purchased it for. I plug it into the headset outlet on my laptop, and then into the aux outlet on the back of a Jensen "boom box". This allows me to tape classes I'm taking on internet onto cassette tapes in the "boom box", so I can listen to them again later. I'm very happy with it.

I ordered 3 of these cables to connect various portable music sources to my computer. The first cable started crackling and cutting out after 5-6 disconnections. The second cable did the same thing after about 10 disconnects. I'm not counting on the third to last any longer, so I just chucked all of them in the rubbish bin. Not even worth trying to get a refund. They seem about as effective as monkey feces for the intended usage.

I purchased this product about 2.5 years ago, and used it almost every day as a way to connect my iPod to my car's auxiliary port. Until very recently, it held up quite nicely, and worked exactly as described. About a month ago, it started to fray, and today the cable stopped working all together. Considering how cheap this thing is, surviving 2.5 years of near daily use is extremely impressive and I'd recommend this to anyone who needs a nice sized male to male cable. In fact, I'm about to add this to my cart because it's such a well made product relative to its price tag.
