I buy these for a OFF GRID home and RV use, WHY?? For having 20 amp capable 12 volt DC access points at a price 1/3 of a cigarette lighter plug and all you have to do is take the little cords that come with SO Many 12 volt DC transformers ( VERIFY + & - First) then clean the wire and insert it into the tabs. Holds amazingly well, and my 12 volt DC radio, TV, and DVD players that had a transformer that took 120 volts AC down to 12 volts DC is now eliminated and the wasted Inverter power to run those power greedy items is POOF!
Be sure to install a fuse ( 20 amp max) and run no less than 12 gauge wire to it and you can run a inverter up to 250 watts for a computer, and will soon learn how many Games, TV's and other stuff is really 12 volts DC inside and getting rid of the power eating transformers will save you money on how many Batteries and solar panels you will need.

These came quickly and were very easy to install. I had built the speakers a long time ago and just had a wire coming out. But, after years of connecting and reconnecting, this made sense. Actually, it made sense long ago - I just never got around to it until I could just PRIME it here.

Have a pair of speakers from the 1400's or so. Well, they're pretty old, anyway and one of them had a busted terminal. This one replaced it perfectly. Shipping was fast, too! This is a great vendor.

I bought 4 of these. The red terminal on 3 of these was seized from the start. After pushing hard to open the seized terminals they blew apart. Several of the other terminals did not have enough force to retain the speaker wire. JAL Electronics whoever they are should pull this junk!

Junk. The levers bind so badly that the + would not move and the – moved but would not return. It is not worth the hassle to return. I will take pleasure setting this POS on fire in my back yard. It is that bad. After unboxing these and examining them I got pissed off and ended up purchasing the EXCELLENT Dayton Audio BPA-38G binding posts, which is what I should have done in the first place. I am *very* glad I did not use a 2" hole saw on my freshly built sub box only to have this joke of a terminal cup be what I had to stuff in it. The binding posts are a better idea anyway. Lesson learned. This is absolute crap. Do not buy.

One star awarded because Amazon will not allow me to give it the zero it deserves.

I use these cups for small speaker and low-end sub woofer cabinets. These are not good for "air tight" cabinets, because they do leak air at the terminal, which could cause unwanted noise. I do recommend them, because they a very budget friendly.

fit my 1&15/16ths hole perfect for my box build. does not come with hardware, which is unfortunate. spade connectors on the back are not that large. i bet you'd have trouble fitting 12 gauge on the front.

It did not come withe the gaskets like it says it should in the info. Im not to concerned about it as i will probably caulk these in place. Now to the product itself, it seems to be well built and sturdy. It fits what i needed well.
