Seventy-five sweet and savory popcorn recipes to satisfy every craving
The days of buying popcorn in those expensive tins are over thanks to Party Popcorn, a book full of popcorn recipes that are incredibly fun and affordable to make at home. With 75 tasty recipes, Ashton Swank offers much more than just the familiar caramel and cheddar flavors. In the savory chapter, Swank includes creations like Pepperoni Pizza, Bacon Teriyaki, and Taco Lime. The sweet options range from Turtle Brownie to Gooey S’mores to Firecracker (which has candy Pop Rocks!). There’s also a chapter devoted to popcorn fun for kids and another just for the holidays. Such a wide variety of flavored popcorn means that there’s a batch perfect for any occasion. Even better, popcorn is naturally vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free, a great alternative to unhealthy processed snacks. This vibrant little volume is the definitive popcorn guide.

Gooey S’mores Popcorn from PARTY POPCORN
As a kid, I thought s’mores were the best thing about summer. As an adult, I still think s’mores are the best part of the season. Now you can enjoy these classic summertime and childhood favorite flavors year-round. Gooey marshmallow coats graham crackers, chocolate bar pieces, and popcorn, creating the ultimate s’mores popcorn experience.
Directions
Pour the popcorn into a large bowl and remove any unpopped kernels.
Place the marshmallows and butter in a large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on medium power for 1 minute. Stir until the marshmallows are melted and smooth. If needed, add additional heating time in 30-second increments, stirring after each time.
Use a sturdy rubber spatula to scrape the melted marshmallow into the popcorn bowl. Add the candy bar pieces and graham cracker pieces and gently stir to coat. Serve immediately. The popcorn may be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
Prep time: 10 minutes
Serves: 6
Ingredients
- 8 cups popped popcorn
- 4 cups miniature marshmallows
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup chopped milk chocolate candy bars
- 1/2 cup crumbled graham crackers

2) Bacon Teriyaki Popcorn – p 23. Delicious! Bacon heads will love this. Great sweet, salty, smoky balance.
3) Death By Chocolate Popcorn – p 95. This is some seriously chocolatey popcorn. Milk and dark chocolate with oreos, brownies, and m&ms. We went with peanut m&ms. Great stuff!
