far more depth than I had been expecting

Passionate Desire is a steamy office romance. Victoria is a woman who's been damaged by her past relationship. She's not looking for love or a relationship, no, she shies away from any contact with men, especially her coworkers. But there's one colleague whom she can't help but fantasize about, Joe, he with the bad boy attitude, the leather jacket and the helmet under his arm. One steamy tryst in a stalled elevator later, and she finds out that he's just as attracted to her as she is to him. But, how can she possibly let it happen again, knowing what an office romance ended up doing to her at her last job?

As Joe endeavors to get the real Vickie to come out and play, they dive headlong into a passionate affair and they're falling fast for each other. But, Vickie doesn't just have scars from her past relationship, her past is still haunting her, stalking her, actually, and doesn't seem to be letting up. He's getting worse, and Vickie is determined not to let her past touch Joe and what they have together.

Passionate Desire was a surprise to me, in a good way. It's got far more depth than I had been expecting. It's seriously sexy and steamy, but both Joe and Vickie are characters with substance, and that was a surprise. Office romances have a tendency to be steamy but with little depth either to the story or to the characters. That isn't the case here. No, it's well written, with the usual requisite steam, but emotional and character depth that is necessary in a good romance. This definitely won't be the last of Marie's books that I read.

ARC. BRAVO ! 😍 A HOT DELIGHTFUL READ

A DELIGHTFUL SINFULLY VICE PRESIDENT BADBOY . Marie writes a strong structure storyline and well developed characters Joe Bradshaw and Victoria Collins . They both work at TECHTRONICS in Seattle, and supporting characters brilliant exquisitely well written . The story is drama hilarious rom-com emotional rollar coaster captivating sizzling chemistry hot provocative streamy explosives sex kinky suspense thrilling action mystery and captivating from start to finish 💋 💖 . Can Joe help Victoria become Vicki, that she buried deep inside herself . Someone from Victoria's past and would not let her go. There are sparks and attractions between them but they have overcome twist turns obstacles and hurdles . HEA? I love and recommend this book to everyone 😆 😙 . I can't wait for the next book . I voluntarily ARC for honest review .

Excellent contemporary wealthy romance.

4.5 stars. This was an excellent contemporary wealthy romance. Victoria has been traumatized and therefore plays down her looks. She is an excellent worker and is courteous to those both higher and lower in the company. She has had her eye on Joe since he started working for the same company a few months ago. She is completely against workplace romance. Joe tried to coax her flirty side out so he could see if they were as compatible as he expected. Vicki, her flirty side, and Joe are gold together but he sees she has fears and reservations. She hides the fact that her ex is a scary stalker. The romance is exquisite as is the patience Joe has while drawing Vicki's playful side out. There is some suspense, intrigue & HOT scenes I received a complementary copy of this book and chose to write a review. I look forward to reading future books by Ms. Tuhart in the future.

A steamy office romance

Passionate Desire. This book was a very steamy office romance. I was blown away by the story. I enjoyed this book! Joe Bradshaw was exciting and funny. He was in control of their relationship from the beginning. Victoria started out not wanting to have a relationship with Joe because of her past relationship with Derek, but Joe was so different and demanding that she couldn't help herself. Joe showed her how a man loves a woman. He stood as her knight in shining armor when Derek did approach Victoria to claim her back. This was a great read! *** I voluntarily read a Review Copy of this book. All opinions stated are solely my own and no one else’s. ***

Good story

A good erotic romance. H was very likable, was never an a$$ to the h. Vicki was a good character who has suffered an emotionally abusive relationship which she ended when it became physically abusive, at which point her ex became her stalker. I liked how we see her dealing with the emotional aftermath, the hurdles she had to take for legal action, and I liked that the book didn't dwell forever on these issues. The tension of the ex stalker was good as you wonder when he's going to make an appearance. Overall a good story. *I received an ARC of this book and this is my voluntary and honest review.

Surprising wonderful story

Wow! This story blew my away. I had not expected that. It is the first book I read from Marie Tuhart but absolutely not the last one!
She writes in an amazing captivating way. I love this very well written story. It is a sparkling gem that is marked as must read if you ask me.
That the theme is an office romance made me think that it would be as a lot of the other books within this theme but no! It has a lot of different aspects to it and that is why I loved this book.
It has it all; steaming hot scenes, alpha male, badboy, lots of emotions and chemistry, a stalker, drama, lack of trust, passion, pasts to struggle with and a lot more. I love the banter they have between them.
I just had to read all through this book in one day just to find out what happens next and how it ends.
I can only recommend it to others that like to read romance novels with an edge.
