I found this book to be a huge help in getting to understand the “how” better, along with the “why.” The chapter “BPM Success Manifesto” by Nathaniel Palmer actually put things into perspective for me for the first time. It is clear, concise and gives step-by-step on how to develop a business case for BPM.
I skipped over a couple of the more technical chapters and will circle back to them when I know more. The case studies are pure gold – they (about dozen different companies in different industries) really lay out in detail exactly what issues they faced, how they overcame them and their final outcomes. I don’t call this book a major page-turner or a quick read, but I have made lots of notes as I am working my way through. Would certainly recommend it. Highly.
This is ground-breaking stuff. The BPM definition has not been updated since it was first "invented."
Another chapter not getting enough attention is the one by Nathaniel Palmer called “The BPM Success Manifesto.”
The whole book is filled with really, really top class information you can learn and use. Very much recommended.
