Excellent product and excellent service from this seller. Lime pickle is a must-have relish as part of an Indian feast, but my favorite everyday use is as a garnish to tuna salad.

Very tasty. This is one of the best brands! Great quality! Not only good with Indian food. Try it with other things and you'll be surprised at how well it compliments many dishes. Good packaging and delivery!

I love this stuff. I've tried a few brands and they're all much the same at the end of the day, but Patak's version isn't too bad at all. If you've never had lime pickle, bear in mind that it's an acquired taste, like olives. My first reaction was that it tasted like curried soap, but these days a good tiger roll with thick slabs of cheddar isn't the same without this stuff in it. It works on cheese topped oatcakes as well and when I'm most badly in need of a spice fix, I can eat the stuff straight off a spoon.

I first tried Lime Pickle at my favorite Indian restaurant. I went straight to Whole Foods and bought a jar; however, they stopped carrying it. I've checked several specialty stores, as well as on line, over the past couple of years and what a nice surprise when I found this on Amazon. Goes great with chicken dishes, but I served it with a cheese, salami and cracker appetizer and it was a hit. It has a very strong, unique flavor.

If you have been a fan of Patak's lime pickle for years, this will shock you! Quite different and not good,
I have spoken to Patak's and they sent me a voucher, not enough to cover the cost of a wasted jar! So
disappointed, it says it's "a family recipe" on their website, well someone not nice joined the family! If
you're new to this and enjoy the aniseed overload, enjoy. However if you love the old stuff you'll not be
happy with the changes.

Having never had this before I didn't know what to expect. I liked it but found it so overpowering that anything I put it on just tastes like lime pickle. I also thought there was a kind of weird aftertaste. I'm not sure if that is from the manufacturing or just the spices used. I'm tempted to try making my own.

This zips up everything! I add it to grains, noodles, soups. sandwiches; this is a mellow flavor; not too spicy for anyone that likes a little kick. The lime was new to me; I'll get it again. The mango also very good.

When I dislike a food at first bite, I try to make myself at least finish the serving for that meal. Unfortunately, I couldn't get through even a very small portion of this. To me, it seemed like limes pickled in kerosene & I was left with a bad aftertaste that numerous cups of strong coffee & mints couldn't dispel. (I looked at the ingredients- no kerosene, just canola oil.) I've had other Pataks products & they've been delicious, so I think this is just a matter of it not being to my taste.
