violence, citizen violence, police violence and political violence. All contribute to PTS/PTSD among our world citizenry. I think it is especially necessary for our young people to understand what is happening to their brains, minds and emotions. The sooner someone receives help for PTS/PTSD, the better the chance for manageability of symptoms. I don't think there is full recovery from PTSD, at least in my own life I've not experienced full recovery from PTSD. However, with knowledge and understanding of what a person is experiencing, it helps one develop better coping skills. G. Maeve Aeolus, RN,C.
