All the sex, drugs and rock n’ roll pales in comparison to the danger that lay ahead for Lincoln Hayes and Adeline Ivey. I do feel there are very dark parts that I may not encourage, but to see into the world of all these guys was so moving. I do not condone in behaviors such as all that was written, which is why this opened my eyes to so much. It's certainly not boring, certainly not pointless, and for any girl (or woman) who has ever felt lost and adrift, without hope, it will resonate in a way you may find a bit uncomfortable.
What an amazing book, it’s quite beautiful. Path of Destruction is a powerful conversation starter for the difficult to talk about things that affect us. It is smart and genuine. I can't say enough good things about this book, so just read it already!
Cara has mentioned that she spent a lot of time researching the subject matter detailed within the pages of Path of Destruction and boy does it show. The emotions and struggles that the characters experienced throughout the book were very real to me. I truly felt like I watching a documentary. I loved the way she wrote this.
I like to find at least one book a year that really will take me on a emotional roller coaster ride, its only March and I found it (now I want more, ha). Definitely looking forward to Cara's next book!
