That said - there are many typos (in the Kindle edition at least). The content is so good that it didn't matter to me, but I'm hoping the author has a proof reader go through it and re-publishes. Also - the Buddhist terminology (Pali words) are a bit hard to keep track of. Well worth it for me but it took some effort on my part. I got a notebook and wrote them all down with their definitions for easy reference. If you decide to read this book I recommend you do the same. It is worth the extra effort.
All in all though - of all the books I have ever read on self transformation, this is by far the most useful. Thank you Dr Peter Strong for writing this. I am profoundly grateful.
The authors style of writing is outstanding (even though there are quite a few typos throughout the book), the examples and metaphors are inspiring to say the least. Personally I find the use, or as some claim 'overuse', of Pali terms adds to the overall authenticity of this work.
I highly recommend this to anyone who has an open mind and heart, you will not be disappointed.
The path of Mindfulness Meditation has shown me that although there is pain in this life, it doesn't need to become suffering if one approaches our inner and outer struggles with an attitude of friendliness and care instead of one of avoidance or rejection. This book can dramatically improve the quality of anyone's life, regardless of religious beliefs or spiritual background.
I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS BOOK HIGHLY ENOUGH. IT HAS CHANGED MY OUTLOOK ON LIFE.
