Book is very well done even though a little bit disjointed. The last time we saw Jared he was being tossed off the end of a boat into the Atlantic ocean. Now he’s in the middle of Africa chasing a child exploitation ring. The author eventually ties the threads together but it should’ve been done earlier like the beginning of the book. I am a little disappointed that I don’t see a lot of reviews for this title, it has been out for a while. It is fast-paced, full of action and some character development. The author has a issue was child sexual exploitation and child slavery, this is evident in this book as well. It’s possible that the subject matter doesn’t appeal to some people and the author should write a separate book on this subject while keeping his technothriller separate.If you like action adventure and a little bit of education on child soldiers you will enjoy this book.

I have to honestly admit that the only reason I started reading this book was because it was free. I was hooked by the end of the first chapter! It wasn't until halfway through the novel that I realized I'd not read Book 1. The author did such a great job at discreetly explaining the actions of all MCs that i didn't feel lost or confused. I look forward to reading Book 1, not because I need to but because Carlson's writing and technothriller creativity is incredible!

One of my fondest fantasies is to be the almost indestructible hero. Fighting for right and goodness. Jarrod's capabilities are awesome! The de-humanizing of his personality is less so. But central to the story, if not part of my personal dreamscape.
I'm looking forward to the next book as Jarrod fights for F, J & the AW! I won't what will finally be his kryptonite?

Honestly I hardly ever read a book where the bad guys are so well thought out and winning against them seem almost impossible. Jarrod is an absolute beast. Cant wait for the adventure to continue in the 3rd book.

Some authors try to create an action/sci-fi mix, but fail to make both sides solid. J.J. Carlson nails it! I want to immerse myself in the story; weak plots, discrepancies and idiocy pull me out and make me crazy. Other than stopping to call the lawn service while on the run, this book avoids that. Also, the dilemma San faces at the beginning of chapter one is timeless and priceless.

Loved the continuing story of Jarred & his mission of saving the innocence of children & avenging the murders of his wife & son.If violence doesn’t bother you then this is the book for you. I look forward to reading the next in this series.

Jarrod, being a killing-machine vigilante against human trafficking, was so fucking cool, that I applaud Mr. Joel Carlson for writing this awesome character in his fight against it. Likewise, I see the bromance between Eugene and Daron, which I enjoy as well. I look forward for the next release of Jarrod Hawkins next novel. I would definitely BUY it; for curious readers, YOU SHOULD BUY THE BOOKS AS WELL. It would make a big difference, knowing a small portion goes to a good charitable cause.
