The romance in this story is incredible and very juicy. I found myself glued to the pages. I laughed and I cried.
I highly recommend this book. This is one where you can read again and again and feel that warm fuzzy feeling each time.
Author of Enlightened Desire
I do wish it was longer, as I feel the ending was a little rushed, and I have hopes that a sequel will be written that will fill in some time lapses in the ending. Overall, a good book for a first time author.
1) The romance aspect is very well handled, the growth of love through the book felt very realistic.
2) The sexual scenes are exquisitely erotic and well written, yet never strays into a crass "smut" like feel. Perhaps because there isn't a ton of swearing like I've come across in other books.
3) The emotions and thoughts of Paige are very well done.
However, there are some flaws with the book. The pacing towards the end becomes extremely quick, but in an unsatisfying way. Without spoiling the end, I will say that it felt rushed, and was portrayed in a sort of unbelievable way. It's almost as if the author suddenly ran out of space, and had to slap an end to the story. Also, a few of the characters are not very well fleshed out, which is a pity, as there is potential there. Maybe it's just me, being used to fantasy novels 4 times as long as this book, that I struggle with shorter books.
Apart from the end, I felt it was a worthwhile read. About three quarters of the way through the book, I was hoping that a sequel would be coming out, as it feels like there is so much more to be written about Paige and Alyssa. Anyway, I recommend this for anyone who wants to have a really good erotic lesbian love story that will keep you entertained and smiling. Well worth the price.
